What Is This Initiative?

The Kiosk Reform Project focuses on making the kiosk more environmentally friendly. One significant difference we made was the installation of biomass cups to replace the cheap, harmful plastic cups we previously used. Because of its unique materials, when these new cups are incinerated, it does not emit additional CO2 to the environment. Since the Kiosk's most popular products are drinks that use these cups, this relatively small adjustment drastically reduces the school's carbon footprint. So far this year, we have replaced most plastic wrapping with an environmentally friendly paper substitute, and currently, we are working to reduce the school’s high consumption of plastic water bottles.
